Sara Coffee Table

Description

The challenge of Sara lies in making an 8 person dining table carried by 4 legs in 25 mm thin steel tube, because such a construction normally will be unstable and the table top will droop. What makes it possible for the Sara table to be carried by these thin steel tubes is the fact that they are connected. The connection between the legs and the middle of the table creates a stability which enables 4 thin steel tubes to carry a very long (245 cm) table top.
The construction is repeated in the Sara coffee table and the Sara bench, where once again the carrying capacity by far exceeds the expectancy of such a slim frame.
