Description

The composition is the focal point in the design of the dining table HAY Desk. With its simplicity and purity the idea behind the design is actually to let the table function on the terms of the chair – to move attention from the table to the chair. Hence the table has a very simple design and is manufactured from high quality and hard-wearing materials.
The frame is made from extruded aluminum which is brushed, polished and anodized. The latter is a surface treatment giving the frame high resistance to dust and dirty fingers unlike e.g. brushed steel.
The table top is made from linoleum, laminate and veneer with hard wood edges making them high impact and durable – except the laminate top which is combined with a plywood edge.
